Blog, Anyone?

I have never written a blog before. In fact, you could call me somewhat blog illiterate. I mean, I know what a blog is and its purpose, but I never saw myself as writing one. It shouldn't be too hard, though right--especially since I'm a writer by nature and I used to keep journals and diaries religiously. So, here goes nothing...

Monday began my very first class on my journey to becoming a daycare director. I am attending Walden University online pursuing my Masters of Science Degree in Early Childhood Studies (Leadership and Management). This is sooooo different from what I'm used to. See, I already am an educator, but I've taught only as young as 4 years old and as old as high school. Four-year-olds, on the most part, know the basics (and you pray that the high-schoolers do, too LOL). Learning to teach infants and toddlers is going to be challenging but insightful. I'm actually looking forward to it. Of course, change can be difficult but it's a good thing.

If I don't learn anything else, which I'm sure that won't be the case, at least I can now say I know how to blog. #imnowinternetsavvy
